ADP – Diluted Petroleum Asphalt

ADP CM-30 results from the dilution of asphalt cement by light petroleum distillates, providing less viscous products that can be applied at lower temperatures. The diluents evaporate after application whose nature of the diluent used determines the cure (Medium-CM or Rapid-CR).

They are mainly used for priming of unpaved base (soil, graded gravel, etc.) In priming services, it is recommended to use diluted asphalt type ADP CM or CR with an application rate ranging between 0.8 and 1.6 l / m². ADP diluted asphalt is not applied on rainy days, on wet surfaces or at temperatures below 10 ° C.

Precautions must be taken when heating the ADP CM or CR during transport and storage, as the risk of fire is greater due to its low flash point.
